Wheel locks and vehicle details
Provide the year, make and model. If your wheels use locking lug nuts, have the correct key available. Mention damaged lug nuts, aftermarket wheels or any difficulty accessing the spare.
The location must be suitable
We need a stable, safe place to work with enough clearance around the vehicle. A narrow shoulder or active traffic lane may require a different response before a wheel can be changed.
Your spare has its own limits
Follow the limits printed on the spare and the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions. A temporary spare is a way to reach appropriate tire service, not a replacement for a regular road tire.
